Under IC 4-22-2-24, notice is hereby given that on October 22, 2010, at 9:00 a.m., at the Indiana Government Center South, 402 West Washington Street, Conference Center Room 1, Indianapolis, Indiana, the Division of Mental Health and Addiction will hold a public hearing on proposed rules that add 440 IAC 11, regarding assertive community treatment (ACT) teams, to establish definitions, certification standards and procedures, and operational standards and requirements for ACT teams and to repeal 440 IAC 5.2.

All parties interested in the rules are invited to attend the hearing and offer public comments. In lieu of attendance at the hearing, written comments may be directed to IFSSA, Attention: Barbara Nardi, 402 West Washington Street, Room W451, Indianapolis, Indiana 46204. Correspondence should be identified in the following manner: "COMMENT RE: LSA DOCUMENT #09-875, ACT TEAM RULES". Written comments timely received will be made available for public display at the Office of General Counsel, 402 West Washington Street, Room W451, Indianapolis, Indiana 46204.

The Division of Mental Health and Addiction has the authority to adopt rules under IC 12-8-8-4 and IC 12-21-5-1.5. The proposed rules do not impose on the regulated entities any cost or requirement that is not required by the statutes authorizing the agency to adopt the rules.
