TITLE 511 INDIANA STATE BOARD OF EDUCATION

Under IC 4-22-2-23, the Indiana State Board of Education intends to adopt a rule concerning the following:

OVERVIEW: Amends 511 IAC 6.2, concerning accountability measures for school performance and improvement, by adding 511 IAC 6.2-8 to establish that the state board of education shall direct the department of education to conduct quality review of schools subject to IC 20-31-9-3 and by adding 511 IAC 6.2-9 to establish hearing requirements, options for state intervention, and the impact on state funding from state intervention of schools subject to state board action under IC 20-31-9-4. Statutory authority: IC 20-31-10-1; IC 20-31-9.
