Notice of Public Hearing

Under IC 4-22-2-24, notice is hereby given that on September 8, 2010, at 10:00 a.m. EDT, at the Indiana Government Center South, 402 West Washington Street, Conference Center Room 5, Indianapolis, Indiana, the Department of Child Services will hold a public hearing on a proposed new rule to establish eligibility requirements and procedures for development and implementation of independent living transitional services plans for youth between 16 and 21 years of age, who have become or will be 18 years of age or emancipated while receiving foster care through child in need of services or juvenile delinquency cases, or who will receive foster care for older youth between 18 and 21 years of age.
The proposed rule will not impose requirements or costs on any regulated entity that are not expressly required by the authorizing statute, or other state or federal law, for which a statement is required under IC 4-22-2-24(d)(3).
Written statements concerning the proposed rule may be submitted before or at the time of the hearing. Questions, comments, or prehearing written statements may be forwarded to the mailing address or by e-mail as shown below.
Copies of these rules are now on file at the Indiana Government Center South, 302 West Washington Street, Room E306 and Legislative Services Agency, Indiana Government Center North, 100 North Senate Avenue, Room N201, Indianapolis, Indiana and are open for public inspection.
