Under IC 4-22-2-24, notice is hereby given that on September 9, 2010, at 10:30 a.m., at the Indiana Government Center South, 402 West Washington Street, Conference Center Room 14, Indianapolis, Indiana, the Fire Prevention and Building Safety Commission will hold a public hearing on a proposed rule to amend 675 IAC 12-4-12 to correct a clerical error, amend 675 IAC 13-2.5 to add previously omitted sections and make substantive and clarifying changes, amend 675 IAC 18-1.5 to make substantive and clarifying changes, amend 675 IAC 22-2.4 to make substantive, technical, and clarifying changes, and repeal 675 IAC 23-1-1 through 675 IAC 23-1-10, 675 IAC 23-1-12 through 675 IAC 23-1-19, 675 IAC 23-1-21 through 675 IAC 23-1-61, 675 IAC 23-1-64, and 675 IAC 23-2.

The Fire Prevention and Building Safety Commission has authority to adopt this rule under IC 22-13-2. This rule provides clarification of current code sections and adds sections that were inadvertently omitted from the prior adoption of the current codes. There is no additional cost that results from the adoption of this rule. The multiple sections being repealed are old rules that were replaced by the provisions of 685 IAC and are being repealed at the request of the Regulated Amusement Device Safety Board.
