TITLE 240 STATE POLICE DEPARTMENT

Notice of Intent to Adopt a Rule
LSA Document #10-358

Under IC 4-22-2-23, the State Police Department intends to adopt a rule concerning the following:

OVERVIEW: This rulemaking action will amend 240 IAC 3-1-1 to include gender neutral language and establish criteria under which a person who does not have good character and reputation can be denied a firearms license, 240 IAC 3-2-1 to establish criteria for reasonable grounds to suspend a firearms license, 240 IAC 3-3-1 to make technical corrections, and 240 IAC 3-4-1 to require a license applicant to provide their first name, last name, middle name, and any previous legal name or aliases on their license application. Statutory authority: IC 10-11-2-9.
