TITLE 360 STATE SEED COMMISSIONER

Under IC 4-22-2-23, the State Seed Commissioner intends to adopt a rule concerning the following:

OVERVIEW: Amends 360 IAC 1-1-13 to add inspection fees to be paid by distributors of agricultural and vegetable seeds to defray the costs of inspection, analysis, publication, and other expenses incurred in the administration of IC 15-15-1. Adds reporting requirements of distributors for seeds distributed in Indiana and establishes penalties for reports not filed by the established due dates. Reduces reporting responsibilities of permit holders from quarterly to semiannual filings of reports. Statutory authority: IC 15-15-1-27.
