Under IC 4-22-2-24, notice is hereby given that on April 30, 2010, at 9:00 a.m., at the Indiana Department of Education Riley Room, 151 West Ohio Street, Indianapolis, Indiana, the Indiana State Board of Education will hold a public hearing on proposed changes to 511 IAC.

The proposed rule amends 511 IAC to change the school accreditation category labels of "exemplary progress" to "A", the label of "commendable progress" to "B", the label of "academic progress" to "C", the label of "academic watch" to "D", and the label of "academic probation" to "F".

Copies of these rules are now on file at the Indiana Department of Education, 151 West Ohio Street and Legislative Services Agency, One North Capitol, Suite 325, Indianapolis, Indiana and are open for public inspection.
