Under IC 4-22-2-24, notice is hereby given that on March 4, 2010, at 9:00 a.m., at the Purdue University Cooperative Extension Service, Tippecanoe County Office, 3150 Sagamore Parkway South, Lafayette, Indiana, the State Chemist of the State of Indiana will hold a public hearing on a proposed rule that specifies training and certification of applicators of fertilizer materials and provides the standards and procedures to become certified to distribute or use fertilizer materials.

This proposed rule would impose an annual business license fee of $45 and $20 for a five year certification under IC 4-22-2-24(d)(3).

Copies of these rules are now on file at the Office of Indiana State Chemist, Purdue University, 175 South University Street, Room A151, West Lafayette, Indiana and Legislative Services Agency, One North Capitol, Suite 325, Indianapolis, Indiana and are open for public inspection.
