This document does not meet the definition of a "statement" required to be published in the Indiana Register under IC 4-22-7-7. The purpose of this document is to provide general information about the increase in the Marion County Innkeepers' Tax.

Effective September 1, 2009, the Marion County Innkeepers' Tax, which includes the city of Indianapolis, is increased from 9 percent to 10 percent for the rental of accommodations provided for less than 30 days in Marion County. The tax will continue to be remitted to the Department of Revenue on coupons supplied by the Department.
