IC 4-22-2.1-5 Statement Concerning Rules Affecting Small Businesses
Total costs for small businesses will be the same as prior to the enacting of the rule. While the rule appears to be a completely new system, it is actually an updating and reenacting of a similar structure in rules. The rule has been updated with a new statute having gone into effect on July 1, 2008. Rather than amending the existing rules with all the changes that would be required, the rules were redrafted and reorganized. There will be no additional fiscal impact on small businesses as a result of the proposed rule.
