Under IC 4-22-2-24, notice is hereby given that on June 30, 2009, at 10:00 a.m., at the Indiana State Department of Health, 2 North Meridian Street, Indianapolis, Indiana, the Indiana State Department of Health will hold a public hearing on proposed amendments to 410 IAC 3.2 to add autism to the list of covered conditions in the rule, add a definition of autism, amend the definition of therapy, and set a per year cap on the payment for applied behavioral analysis (ABA) for treatment of autism and amend the reimbursement for travel for program participants.

The Indiana State Department of Health has the authority to adopt this rule under IC 16-19-3-5, IC 16-35-2-7, and IC 16-35-2-10. This rule will not impose any additional requirements or costs under IC 4-22-2-24(d)(3).
