Under IC 4-22-2-24, notice is hereby given that on May 22, 2009, at 9:00 a.m., at the Indiana Government Center South, 402 West Washington Street, Conference Center Room 19, Indianapolis, Indiana, the Bureau of Motor Vehicles will hold a public hearing on a proposed rule to amend 140 IAC 2-5-4, regarding revoking a previously issued personalized license plate, in accordance with IC 9-18-15-4 and IC 9-18-15-14; to amend 140 IAC 4-4-2, definition for state driver examiner, in accordance with IC 9-24-10-4; to amend 140 IAC 6-1-2, regarding the application for title, in accordance with IC 9-17-2; to amend 140 IAC 7-1.1-1, regarding definitions for driver's licenses and credentials, in accordance with IC 9-24; to add 140 IAC 7-1.1-3, regarding documentation accepted as part of the application for an initial, renewed, duplicate, or amended Indiana driver's license and identification card, in accordance with IC 9-24-9 and IC 9-24-16; to amend 140 IAC 7-1.2-1, regarding issuance of interim permits, in accordance with IC 9-24-11-2 and IC 9-24-12-6; and to repeal 140 IAC 2-5-2, 140 IAC 7-1.1-2, 140 IAC 7-4-3, and 140 IAC 9-1-18.

The proposed rule would not impose requirements or costs under IC 4-22-2-24(d)(3).
