Under IC 4-22-2-24, notice is hereby given that on March 25, 2009, at 9:30 a.m., at the Indiana Government Center South, 402 West Washington Street, Conference Center Room 19, Indianapolis, Indiana, the Indiana Department of Transportation will hold a public hearing on a proposed amendment to 105 IAC 9-4 regarding the specific service sign program.

The proposed amendment to 105 IAC 9-4 updates definitions and terms so as to increase the number of businesses that may participate in the specific service sign program on interstates and freeways and updates the specific service sign program with respect to federal requirements in the current edition of the Manual on Uniform Traffic Control Devices for Streets and Highways. The proposed amendment to 105 IAC 9-4 would not impose requirements or costs under IC 4-22-2-24(d)(3).

Copies of these rules are now on file at the Indiana Government Center North, 100 North Senate Avenue, Room N901 and Legislative Services Agency, One North Capitol, Suite 325, Indianapolis, Indiana and are open for public inspection.
