Emergency Rule
LSA Document #09-134(E)

DIGEST

Temporarily adds rules concerning scratch-off game number 134. Statutory authority: IC 4-30-3-9. Effective February 6, 2009.

SECTION 1. The name of the scratch-off game is "scratch-off game number 134, HUNDREDS OF DOLLARS".

SECTION 2. Scratch-off tickets in scratch-off game number 134 shall sell for one dollar ($1) per ticket.

SECTION 3. Play/prize symbols: Each ticket in scratch-off game number 134 shall contain a total of six (6) play/prize symbols. If a question arises as to the play/prize symbol, the play/prize symbol caption will be used for final clarification. The play/prize symbol captions correspond with and verify the play/prize symbols as follows:

SECTION 4. Retailer validation codes: The retailer validation code (for prizes up to five hundred ninety-nine dollars ($599)) verifies instant winners in this game. The retailer validation code that corresponds with and verifies each of these winners is as follows:

SECTION 5. Neither the retailer validation code (nor any portion thereof), the pack-ticket number (or any portion thereof), nor the validation number (or any portion thereof) are play symbols or prize symbols and are not usable or playable as such.

SECTION 6. How to win: A prize winner in scratch-off game number 134 is determined by removing the scratch-off material from the play/prize area, revealing a total of six (6) play/prize symbols. If three (3) matching play/prize symbols are revealed, the ticket holder is entitled to win that amount.

SECTION 7. Prize structure: The number of possible prizes and the odds for each prize level are as follows:

Total value of all prizes*: $1,866,150
Prize payout: 59.81%
Overall odds: 1 in 4.75
Approximate print quantity: 3,120,000 (-3%/+1%)

*The number and total value of prizes in this game are based on the approximate print quantity with a variance as stated above. Should the print quantity be changed for production of this game or subsequent reorders, the ratio of prizes and total value of all prizes to print quantity will be proportionately maintained and the overall odds and prize payout percentage will remain the same. Overall odds are determined by dividing the approximate total number of tickets by the approximate total number of prizes available.

SECTION 8. Prizes are subject to prior sales. The availability of tickets for sale in a scratch-off game depends on retailer orders for tickets. Not all tickets may be made available for sale prior to game closing and opened packs of tickets may be returned by a retailer to the lottery under 65 IAC 3-4-1(b).

SECTION 9. If the director determines an end date for scratch-off game number 134, under 65 IAC 4-2-3(a), tickets may remain on sale during the game closing process, even if all prizes of two thousand dollars ($2,000) have been claimed.

SECTION 10. 65 IAC 4-1 through 65 IAC 4-3 apply to scratch-off game number 134, HUNDREDS OF DOLLARS.
