TO ALL TO WHOM THESE PRESENTS MAY COME, GREETINGS;
WHEREAS, SARAH CRANK, who has petitioned for a pardon, was convicted in 2001 in Rush County of Violation of a Custody Order, for which she served her probation without incident or violation; and
WHEREAS, the petitioner, who resides in Ohio, is now a 32-year-old woman who has been a productive member of society, working as a middle school teacher, is active at her church, and is a member of the local PTA; and
WHEREAS, the petitioner earned her degree in special education, and made the Dean's List while raising her four children alone; and
WHEREAS, the petitioner has letters of support urging the Governor to grant this Pardon; and
WHEREAS, the Parole Board, after careful investigation and examination of all the facts in this case, has recommended to the Governor that this pardon be granted.
NOW THEREFORE, I, Mitchell E. Daniels, Jr., Governor of the State of Indiana, by virtue of the authority vested in me by the Constitution and the laws of said State, do hereby issue a Pardon to SARAH CRANK.
IN TESTIMONY WHEREOF, I, Mitchell E. Daniels, Jr., have hereunto set my hand and caused to be affixed the Great Seal of the State of Indiana on this 31st day of December, 2008.
