TO ALL TO WHOM THESE PRESENTS MAY COME, GREETINGS;
WHEREAS, KEVIN BOSS, who has petitioned for a pardon, was convicted in 1998 in Tippecanoe County for Operating a Vehicle With a BAC of .10%, for which he served his sentence without incident or violation of parole; and
WHEREAS, the petitioner, who successfully served his probation sentence, education programs, and community services, is now a 31-year-old man who has been a productive member of society by earning his undergraduate degree from Purdue University and is currently earning his Masters of Science from Southeastern Oklahoma State University; and has since the instant offense lived a law-abiding and productive life; and
WHEREAS, the petitioner is currently serving our Nation in the U.S. Air Force and serves as a Certified Flight Instructor; and
WHEREAS, the petitioner has shown the ability to turn his life around after making an immature and [sic] decision as a young man; and
WHEREAS, the petitioner has letters of support urging the Governor to grant this Pardon; and
WHEREAS, the Parole Board, after careful investigation and examination of all the facts in this case, has unanimously recommended to the Governor that this pardon be granted.
NOW THEREFORE, I, Mitchell E. Daniels, Jr., Governor of the State of Indiana, by virtue of the authority vested in me by the Constitution and the laws of said State, do hereby issue a Pardon to KEVIN BOSS.
IN TESTIMONY WHEREOF, I, Mitchell E. Daniels, Jr., have hereunto set my hand and caused to be affixed the Great Seal of the State of Indiana on this 25th day of November, 2008.
