Under
IC 4-22-2-24, notice is hereby given that on December 18, 2008, at 9:00 a.m., at the Indiana Government Center South, 402 West Washington Street, Conference Center Room 2, Indianapolis, Indiana, the Division of Mental Health and Addiction will hold a public hearing on proposed rules that add
440 IAC 10 regarding minimum standards for the provision of services by opioid treatment facilities and programs to establish definitions, establish certification standards and procedures for opioid treatment facilities, establish standards and procedures for the specific approval of opioid treatment programs, establish operational standards for opioid treatment programs, and establish standards of competent practice for opioid treatment programs.
The Division of Mental Health and Addiction has the authority to adopt rules under
IC 12-23-18-1 and
IC 12-23-1-6(7). In accordance with public notice requirements established at
IC 4-22-2-24(d), the rules are being proposed in order to establish minimum standards for the provision of services by opioid treatment facilities and opioid treatment programs. The rules do not impose on the regulated entities any cost or requirement that is not expressly required by the statutes authorizing the agency to adopt the rules.
