Notice of Public Hearing
Under
IC 4-22-2-24, notice is hereby given that on December 30, 2008, at 2:30 p.m., at the Indiana Government Center North, 100 North Senate Avenue, Room N335, Indianapolis, Indiana, the State Police Department will hold a public hearing on proposed amendments concerning the definition of a deadly weapon and the use of that weapon by an officer.
The State Police Department has authority to promulgate rules establishing these definitions and policies regarding the use of a deadly weapon by Indiana State Police officers. This proposed rule will have no increased costs to regulated entities. The proposed rule does not impose any new reporting, record keeping, or other administrative costs on small businesses.
Copies of these rules are now on file at the Indiana Government Center North, 100 North Senate Avenue, Room N301and Legislative Services Agency, One North Capitol, Suite 325, Indianapolis, Indiana and are open for public inspection.
