TITLE 65 STATE LOTTERY COMMISSION

Temporarily adds rules concerning scratch-off game number 995. Statutory authority: IC 4-30-3-9. Effective October 31, 2008.


SECTION 1. The name of the scratch-off game is "scratch-off game number 995, 12 DAYS OF CHRISTMAS".

SECTION 2. Scratch-off tickets in scratch-off game number 995 shall sell for two dollars ($2) per ticket.

SECTION 3. Each ticket in scratch-off game number 995 shall contain a total of twelve (12) play symbols. If a question arises as to the play symbol, the play symbol caption will be used for final clarification. The play symbol captions correspond with and verify the play symbols as follows:

SECTION 4. Each ticket in scratch-off game number 995 shall contain a total of twelve (12) prize symbols, located directly beneath and corresponding with each play symbol. If a question arises as to the prize symbol, the prize symbol caption will be used for final clarification. Prize symbol captions correspond with and verify each of the prize symbols as follows:

SECTION 5. The retailer validation code verifies instant winners in this game for prizes up to five hundred ninety-nine dollars ($599). The retailer validation code that corresponds with and verifies each of these winners is as follows:

SECTION 6. Neither the retailer validation code, the pack-ticket number, the validation number, nor any portion of the foregoing are play symbols or prize symbols and are not usable or playable as such.

SECTION 7. A prize winner in the scratch-off game number 995 is determined by removing the scratch-off material revealing a total of twenty-four (24) play and prize symbols, as described in

SECTIONS 3 and 4 of this document. If the "065080835ERA04.jpg" symbol is revealed, the ticket holder is entitled to win the corresponding prize shown. If the "065080835ERA05.jpg" symbol is revealed, the ticket holder is entitled to win double the corresponding prize shown. If the "065080835ERA06.jpg" symbol is revealed, the ticket holder is entitled to win triple the corresponding prize shown. If the "065080835ERA07.jpg" (holly) symbol is revealed, the ticket holder is entitled to win all twelve (12) prizes automatically.

SECTION 8. Prizes subject to prior sales. The possible winning prize combinations are as follows:

Total value of all prizes*: $2,639,800
Prize payout: 64.70%
Overall odds: 1 in 4.53
Approximate print quantity: 2,040,000 (-3%/+1%)

*The number and total value of prizes in this game are based on the approximate print quantity with a variance as stated above. Should the print quantity be changed for production of this game or subsequent reorders, the ratio of prizes and total value of all prizes to print quantity will be proportionately maintained and the overall odds and prize payout percentage will remain the same. Overall odds are determined by dividing the approximate total number of tickets by the approximate total number of prizes available.

SECTION 9. If the Director determines an end date for scratch-off game number 995, under 65 IAC 4-2-3(a), tickets may remain on sale during the game closing process, even if all prizes of twenty thousand dollars ($20,000) have been claimed. Scratch-off game number 995 may be closed prior to all prizes being awarded.

SECTION 10. 65 IAC 4-1 through 65 IAC 4-3 apply to scratch-off game number 995, 12 DAYS OF CHRISTMAS.
