Notice of Intent to Adopt a Rule

Under IC 4-22-2-23, the Office of the Secretary of Family and Social Services intends to adopt a rule concerning the following:

OVERVIEW: Adds 405 IAC 2-3.2 to define presumptive eligibility services for pregnant women with limited family incomes, including definitions, a description of the eligibility criteria and eligibility period, a description of qualified providers that are eligible to grant presumptive eligibility and the qualified providers responsibilities, an explanation of the availability of the right to appeal the decision of presumptive eligibility, and a description of the quality assurances and utilization review process. Statutory authority: IC 12-8-6-5; IC 12-15-1-10; IC 12-15-21-3.
