Under IC 4-22-2-24, notice is hereby given that on October 30, 2008, at 9:00 a.m., at the Indiana State Department of Health, 2 North Meridian Street, Indianapolis, Indiana, the Indiana State Department of Health will hold a public hearing on a proposed amendment to 410 IAC 15-1.5 to clarify that physician verbal orders must be authenticated within 48 hours of their issuance or a repeat and verify process must be used and authenticated by the physician within 30 days after patient discharge.

The ISDH has the authority to adopt this rule under IC 16-21-1-7. This rule will not impose any additional requirements or costs under IC 4-22-2-24(d)(3).
