IC 4-22-2.1-5 Statement Concerning Rules Affecting Small Businesses
The proposed rule will not impose requirements or costs on small businesses under
IC 4-22-2.1-5. It is currently illegal to open burn pesticide containers under the existing state clean air rules. There are existing pesticide container disposal programs in place to assist with disposal. These programs, as well as more traditional disposal mechanisms, will continue to be available to pesticide applicators. Therefore, no new requirements are being created and any cost currently being incurred for legal disposal of pesticide containers will not increase or decrease.
