This notice is published in accordance with IC 12-8-3-4.4. Under IC 4-22-2-29, LSA Document #07-875, posted at 20080528-IR-440070875PRA, was adopted by the director of the Division of Mental Health and Addiction on July 7, 2008. This rule amends 440 IAC 1.5 by revising and adding definitions; revising matters concerning the licensure process for private mental health institutions; updating the names of state agencies; revising matters concerning the organizational standards for and required components of a private mental health institution; and to establish specific procedures and requirements for the use of restraint or seclusion, or the simultaneous use of restraint and seclusion. The rule that was adopted is the same version as the proposed rule that was posted on the -IR- Database Website on May 28, 2008.
