Under IC 4-22-2-24, notice is hereby given that on July 18, 2008, at 9:30 a.m., at the Indiana Government Center-South, 402 West Washington Street, Conference Center Room 4, Indianapolis, Indiana, the State Psychology Board will hold a public hearing to add 868 IAC 1.1-3-8 to establish requirements for limited scope temporary psychology permits.

P.L.157-2006, SECTION 69, provided the State Psychology Board with the discretionary authority to adopt rules establishing requirements for limited scope temporary permits. The statutory language is found in IC 25-33-1-4.5. This new rule will allow out-of-state psychologists to practice in Indiana on a short-term basis without the need for an unlimited Indiana license. This rule will have no costs on the regulated entities or small businesses.

Copies of these rules are now on file at the Indiana Government Center-South, 402 West Washington Street, Room W072 and Legislative Services Agency, One North Capitol, Suite 325, Indianapolis, Indiana and are open for public inspection.
