Under IC 4-22-2-24, notice is hereby given that on May 28, 2008, at 9:30 a.m., at the Indiana State Department of Health, 2 North Meridian Street, Conference Room 8A, Indianapolis, Indiana, the Indiana State Department of Health (ISDH) will hold a public hearing on a proposed rule (LSA Document #07-657) to amend 410 IAC 16.2 to require automatic fire sprinkler systems and battery operated or hard-wired smoke detectors in each room of residents at comprehensive care facilities, clarify license requirements for comprehensive and residential care administrators, and amend the definition of children.

The ISDH has the authority to adopt this rule under IC 16-28-1-7, IC 16-28-1-12, and IC 16-28-11-5. This rule will not impose any additional requirements or costs under IC 4-22-2-24(d)(3).
