Under IC 4-22-2-24, notice is hereby given that on May 7, 2008, at 10:00 a.m., at the Indiana State Library and Historical Building, 140 North Senate Avenue, Room 401, Indianapolis, Indiana, the Indiana Library and Historical Board will hold a public hearing on proposed rules to provide for certification of public librarians and library specialists.

The proposed rule requires each applicant for certification to pay a $50 certification fee every five years, with library education units required for renewal.
