Under IC 4-22-2-24, notice is hereby given that on April 17, 2008, at 2:00 p.m. EDT, at the National City Center, 101 West Washington Street, Suite 220, Room 222, Indianapolis, Indiana, the Indiana Utility Regulatory Commission will hold a public hearing on a proposed rule (RM #07-03, LSA Document #07-829) to add 170 IAC 1-6 establishing 30-day administrative filing procedures.

This proposed rule establishes 30-day administrative filing procedures that may be used at the option of a regulated utility to make noncontroversial changes to certain rates and charges, under IC 8-1-2-42(a). This rule requires publication of notice of filings made under this rule in a newspaper of general circulation that has a circulation encompassing the highest number of the utility's customers affected by the filing. The estimated cost of publication of notice under this rule is between $35 and $1,200, based on information submitted by various utilities. Copies of submitted cost information are now on file at the offices of the Indiana Utility Regulatory Commission, National City Center, 101 West Washington Street, Suite 1500 East, Indianapolis, Indiana.
