Under IC 4-22-2-24, notice is hereby given that on March 6, 2008, at 9:30 a.m. EST, at the National City Center, 101 West Washington Street, Suite 220, Room 224, Indianapolis, Indiana, the Indiana Utility Regulatory Commission will hold a public hearing on a proposed rule (RM #07-08, LSA Document #07-830) to amend 170 IAC 14-1-1 through 170 IAC 14-1-6 regarding filing procedures for small utilities.

This proposed rule updates the rule and clarifies specified time frames for filing procedures for small utilities under IC 8-1-2-61.5. No requirement or cost is imposed on any regulated entity under this rule that is not expressly required by the statute authorizing the Indiana Utility Regulatory Commission to adopt this rule.

As this proposed rule merely updates and clarifies existing requirements and does not impose any additional cost or requirement on any regulated entity, at the present time it does not appear to be necessary to set written and reply comment periods beyond the date of the public hearing. Consequently, any written comments should be submitted at, or in advance of, the public hearing. As is the usual practice, oral comments may be made on the record at the public hearing.
