Under IC 4-22-2-24, notice is hereby given that on March 5, 2008, at 10:40 a.m., at the Indiana Government Center-South, 402 West Washington Street, Room W072, Gerald H. Quigley Conference Room, Indianapolis, Indiana the Board of Environmental Health Specialists will hold a public hearing on proposed amendments to revise the definition of "board" and to revise examination requirements to address outsourcing the licensing examination.

The Board of Environmental Health Specialists has the authority to promulgate rules in accordance with IC 25-32-1-8 to carry out and enforce its provisions, including establishing the procedures for conducting examinations. The proposed rule clarifies and revises language to make the rules consistent with the Board's statutes and removes out-of-date language in the rules. This proposed rule will not impose costs on the regulated entities.

Copies of these rules are now on file at the Indiana Government Center-South, 402 West Washington Street, Room W072 and Legislative Services Agency, One North Capitol, Suite 325, Indianapolis, Indiana and are open for public inspection.
