Under IC 4-22-2-24, notice is hereby given that on December 13, 2007, at 9:30 a.m., at the Indiana State Department of Health, 2 North Meridian Street, Conference Room 8A, Eighth Floor, Indianapolis, Indiana, the Indiana State Department of Health will hold a public hearing on a proposed rule to amend 410 IAC 16.2-5-0.5 to allow a resident receiving residential care services in a health facility to remain in the health facility in some circumstances when the care services needed by the resident exceed residential care services, to amend 410 IAC 16.2-5-4 to clarify the standard of care required of a health facility providing residential care services, and to amend 410 IAC 16.2-5-2 to determine who may assist in the preparation of medication dispensers/organizers in health facilities that provide residential care services for those residents who self-medicate.

Requirements not expressly required by the authorizing statute have not been imposed.
