DIGEST

Temporarily amends 312 IAC 8 and 312 IAC 9 to govern hunts at Conrad Savanna Nature Preserve in Newton County, Wabash Lowlands Nature Preserve in Posey County, and Section Six Flatwoods Nature Preserve in Posey County. Effective September 23, 2007.

SECTION 1. (a) Notwithstanding 312 IAC 8-2 and any other provision governing taking of a wild animal from a nature preserve dedicated under IC 14-31-1 or otherwise in Indiana, an individual qualified under this document may, with a firearm under 312 IAC 9-3-3, take a white-tailed deer from any of the following nature preserves managed by the division of nature preserves of the department of natural resources:

(1) Conrad Savanna Nature Preserve in Newton County.

(2) Wabash Lowlands Nature Preserve in Posey County.

(3) Section Six Flatwoods Nature Preserve in Posey County.

(b) In order to qualify under subsection (a), an individual must hunt deer in compliance with 312 IAC 9-3-2 and 312 IAC 9-3-3.
