Notice of Intent to Adopt a Rule

Under IC 4-22-2-23, the Securities Division intends to adopt a rule concerning the following:

OVERVIEW: Amends 710 IAC 1-22-1 to remove portions of subsection (f) and all of subsection (g) due to conflicts with recently enacted changes to IC 23-2-5. Repeals 710 IAC 1-22-2 due to superseding changes in IC 23-2-5. Amends 710 IAC 1-22-4 to remove portions of subsection (h), which conflict with a Statement of Policy issued 6/8/2007. Adds 710 IAC 1-22-10, which provides a definition of a branch office. Adds 710 IAC 1-22-11, which provides measures for preserving privacy of borrower information, including proper procedures for the disposition of records containing private information. Public comments are invited and should be directed to the Securities Division, Indiana Government Center-South, 302 West Washington Street, Room E111, Indianapolis, Indiana. Statutory authority: IC 23-2-5-11.
