Emergency Rule

Temporarily adds rules concerning scratch-off game number 896. Effective June 13, 2007.
SECTION 1. The name of the scratch-off game is "Scratch-Off Game Number 896, Cash Money".
SECTION 2. Scratch-off tickets in scratch-off game number 896 shall sell for two dollars ($2) per ticket.
SECTION 3. Play symbols: Each ticket in scratch-off game number 896 shall contain a total of twelve (12) play spots with two (2) play symbols located in an area labeled "WINNING NUMBERS" and ten (10) play symbols located in the area labeled "YOUR NUMBERS". If a question arises as to the play symbol, the play symbol caption will be used for final clarification. The play symbol captions correspond with and verify the play symbols as follows:

SECTION 4. Prize symbols: Each ticket in scratch-off game number 896 shall contain a total of ten (10) prize spots located in the area labeled "YOUR NUMBERS". If a question arises as to the prize symbol, the prize symbol caption will be used for final clarification. Prize symbol captions correspond with and verify each of the prize symbols as follows:
SECTION 5. Retailer validation codes: The retailer validation code (for prizes up to five hundred ninety-nine dollars ($599)) verifies instant winners in this game. The retailer validation code that corresponds with and verifies each of these winners is as follows:

How to win: A prize winner in the scratch-off game number 896 is determined by removing the scratch-off material from the play/prize area revealing a total of twenty-two (22) play and prize spots. This includes two (2) play symbols located in the area labeled "WINNING NUMBERS" and twenty (20) play and prize symbols located in the area labeled "YOUR NUMBERS" with the ten (10) play symbols located directly above the corresponding ten (10) prize symbols. Neither the retailer validation code (or any portion thereof), the pack-ticket number (or any portion thereof), nor the validation number (or any portion thereof) are play symbols or prize symbols and are not usable or playable as such. If any of the play symbols in "YOUR NUMBERS" matches either of the two (2) play symbols in "WINNING NUMBERS", the ticket holder is entitled to win the prize shown for that number. If the "
" (bill) symbol is revealed, the ticket holder is entitled to win double the amount of the prize shown for that prize.
SECTION 7. Prize structure: The possible winning prize combinations are as follows:
Total value of all prizes*: $3,491,200
Approximate print quantity: 2,640,000 (-3%/+1%)
*The number and total value of prizes in this game are based on the approximate print quantity with a variance as stated above. Should the print quantity be changed for production of this game or subsequent reorders, the ratio of prizes and total value of all prizes to print quantity will be proportionately maintained and the overall odds and prize payout percentage will remain the same. Overall odds are determined by dividing the approximate total number of tickets by the approximate total number of prizes available.

SECTION 8.
Applicable rules: 65 IAC 4 SCRATCH-OFF GAMES.
SECTION 9. The last day to claim a prize in scratch-off game number 896 is sixty (60) days from the end of the game.
