Notice of Intent to Adopt a Rule

Under IC 4-22-2-23, the Indiana Department of Transportation intends to adopt a rule concerning the following:

OVERVIEW: Amends 105 IAC 11 to update definitions and terms, to allow and establish a formal procedure for electronic bidding on state highway construction contracts, to allow all plans and contract documents to be provided to potential contractors electronically, and to include a mechanism for electronic submission of binding bids, required bonds, and digital signatures.
