Under IC 4-22-2-24, notice is hereby given that on February 28, 2007, at 10:00 a.m., at the Indiana Government Center-North, 100 North Senate Avenue, Room N1045, Indianapolis, Indiana, the Department of Local Government Finance will hold a public hearing on the repeal of 50 IAC 3.2 and adoption of 50 IAC 3.3 regarding the assessment of mobile homes. The new rule will bring the definitions and methods of assessment of mobile homes into compliance with recent statutory changes to IC 6-1.1-7.

This proposed rule does not impose any requirement or costs on a regulated entity not expressly required by state or federal law. To the extent that the rule does impose requirements or costs on a regulated entity not expressly required by state or federal law, the requirements and costs are justified by the need for accurate assessments.
