Temporarily adds rules concerning scratch-off game number 857. Effective December 14, 2006.


SECTION 1. The name of the scratch-off game is "Scratch-Off Game Number 857, Texas Hold'em Poker".

SECTION 2. Scratch-off tickets in scratch-off game number 857 shall sell for five dollars ($5) per ticket.

SECTION 3. Play symbols: A scratch-off ticket in Scratch-Off Ticket Game Number 857, Texas Hold'em Poker, shall contain forty-five (45) play spots representing playing cards in five (5) independent hands. In each hand are nine (9) play spots, which include two (2) play spots in area labeled "YOUR 2 CARDS", two (2) play spots in area labeled "THEIR 2 CARDS", and five (5) play spots in area labeled "COMMUNITY CARDS". If a question arises as to the play symbol, the play symbol caption will be used for final clarification. The play symbol captions correspond with and verify the play symbols as follows:

SECTION 4. Prize symbols: Included in Scratch-Off Game Number 857, Texas Hold'em Poker, is one (1) prize spot for each hand totaling five (5) prize spots located directly under the area labeled "COMMUNITY CARDS". If a question arises as to the prize symbol, the prize symbol caption will be used for final clarification. Prize symbol captions correspond with and verify each of the prize symbols as follows:

SECTION 5. Retailer validation codes: The retailer validation code verifies instant winners of "$5", "$10", "$15", "20 [sic.]", "$40", "$50", "$100", and "$500". The retailer validation code that corresponds with and verifies each of these winners is as follows:
$5 = FIV
$10 = TEN
$15 = FTN
$20 = TWY
$40 = FRY
$50 = FTY
$100 = HUN
$500 = FHN

SECTION 6. How to win: A prize winner in the Scratch-Off Game Number 857, Texas Hold'em Poker, is determined by removing the entire scratch-off material from the play area on the front of the ticket to reveal a total of fifty (50) play and prize spots within five (5) independent game hands. Included in each hand is a total of ten (10) prize and play spots, including two (2) play spots in area labeled "YOUR 2 CARDS", two (2) play spots in area labeled "THEIR 2 CARDS", five (5) play spots in area labeled "COMMUNITY CARDS", and one (1) prize spot located directly under area labeled "COMMUNITY CARDS". Neither the retailer validation code (or any portion thereof), the pack-ticket number (or any portion thereof), nor the validation number (or any portion thereof) are play symbols or prize symbols and are not usable or playable as such. For each hand, the holder shall combine "YOUR 2 CARDS" play symbols with the five (5) "COMMUNITY CARDS" to determine the best five (5) card poker hand. The ticket holder shall also combine the "THEIR 2 CARDS" play symbols with the five (5) "COMMUNITY CARDS" play symbols to determine the best five (5) card poker hand. If the holder's best five (5) card hand beats THEIR best five-card hand, the holder is entitled to win the prize shown for that deal. This process is repeated for each of the five (5) hands.

*The number and total value of prizes in this game are based on an approximate print quantity (3%/+1%) of four million eighty thousand (4,080,000) tickets. Should the print quantity be changed for production of this game or subsequent reorders, the ratio of prizes and total value of all prizes to print quantity will be proportionately maintained and the overall odds and prize payout percentage will remain the same.

SECTION 9. The last day to claim a prize in scratch-off game number 816 [sic., 857] is sixty (60) days from the end of the game.
