Under IC 4-22-2-24, notice is hereby given that on November 2, 2006 at 9:00 a.m., at the Indiana Government Center-South, 402 West Washington Street, Conference Center Room Auditorium, Indianapolis, Indiana the Office of the Secretary of Family and Social Services will hold a public hearing on proposed amendments concerning the Office of Medicaid Policy and Planning's rule to define telemedicine services and describe the circumstances under which Medicaid will reimburse for such services.

This rule is being promulgated because the agency is desirous to offer this method of health care delivery under certain restrictions. The coverage for telemedicine services is an added benefit to providers and recipients. Providers are not required to participate in telemedicine services.

Copies of these rules are now on file at the Indiana Government Center-South, 402 West Washington Street, Room W451 and Legislative Services Agency, One North Capitol, Suite 325, Indianapolis, Indiana and are open for public inspection.
