Under IC 4-22-2-24, notice is hereby given that on October 18, 2006, at 10:00 a.m., at the Indiana Government Center-South, 402 West Washington Street, Conference Center Room 19, Indianapolis, Indiana the Department of Local Government Finance will hold a public hearing on a proposed rule governing the continuing education requirements for assessor-appraiser certification.

This proposed rule will impose increased continuing education requirements on certified assessor-appraisers desiring to maintain their Level One or Level Two certification. The increased requirements imposed by this rule are justified by the need for highly educated assessment professionals. Copies of related documents are now on file at the Indiana Government Center-North, 100 North Senate Avenue, Room 1058(B).
