Notice of Public Hearing

Under IC 4-22-2-24, notice is hereby given that on December 7, 2006 at 11:00 a.m., at the Indiana Government Center-South, 402 West Washington Street, Conference Center Room 12, Indianapolis, Indiana the State Board of Funeral and Cemetery Service will hold a public hearing on proposed amendments to 832 IAC 2-1-2 regarding fees assessed by the board and the repeal of 832 IAC 3-3-3 concerning temporary permit exceptions for reciprocal applicants.
The State Board of Funeral and Cemetery Service has the authority to promulgate rules establishing the fees for examination, application, issuance, renewal, reinstatement, replacement or duplicate licenses, verification of licenses, or temporary permits for funeral home licenses, funeral director licenses, funeral director intern licenses, and the funeral service education fund. This proposed rule establishes the fees in compliance with IC 25-1-8-2, IC 25-15-9-8, and IC 25-15-9-9. This proposed rule will have no increased costs to entities. The proposed rules do not impose any new reporting, record keeping, or other administrative costs on small businesses.
Copies of these rules are now on file at the Indiana Professional Licensing Agency, Indiana Government Center-South, 402 West Washington Street, Room W072 and Legislative Services Agency, One North Capitol, Suite 325, Indianapolis, Indiana and are open for public inspection.
