Notice of Public Hearing
Under
IC 4-22-2-24, notice is hereby given that on September 22, 2006, at 11:00 a.m., at the Indiana Gaming Commission, 115 West Washington Street, Suite 950 – South Tower, Indianapolis, Indiana, the Indiana Gaming Commission will hold a public hearing on proposed amendments and new rules, which replace obsolete terminology and establish a framework within which the Gaming Commission or its Executive Director may issue waivers, restrictions, or alterations of any requirement or procedure set forth in
68 IAC 1-7, which governs the use of weapons in licensed riverboats.
The only requirements imposed on regulated entities under these rules are that the entities must apply to the Commission for a waiver and must provide information to the Commission regarding each entity for which the regulated entity seeks a waiver. There will be no cost outside the cost of correspondence with the Commission regarding a waiver, which is a process that is well known to the regulated entities.
Copies of these rules are now on file at the Indiana Gaming Commission, 115 West Washington Street, Suite 950 – South Tower and Legislative Services Agency, One North Capitol, Suite 325, Indianapolis, Indiana and are open for public inspection.
