Under IC 4-22-2-24, notice is hereby given that on August 28, 2006, at 10:00 a.m., at the Indiana Government Center-South, 402 West Washington Street, Conference Center Room C, Indianapolis, Indiana, the Fire Prevention and Building Safety Commission will hold a public hearing on proposed amendments to 675 IAC 12.

The Fire Prevention and Building Safety Commission has the authority to adopt the proposed amendments under IC 22-13-2 and IC 22-15. The amendments will update the General Administrative rules and will impose costs on regulated entities. The justification for these fee increases is to pay for improvements to the plan review filing systems required by law and to better serve the regulated community and to defray the actual costs of required inspections. Copies of the data supporting the justification are now on file at the Indiana Government Center-South, 302 West Washington Street, Room W246, Indianapolis, Indiana and are open for public inspection.
