As a bipartisan member the House of Representatives and a member of the Government and Regulatory Reform Committee, I have the opportunity to bring the concerns of my constituents directly to state government. The commonsense perspective of Marion County's south side can often impact policy issues in a way that impresses good old Hoosier values on the solution to any problem.

I am currently the Ranking Minority Member of the Technology, Research, and Development Committee, where I work to promote the development of a high-tech environment in Indiana that encourages risk-taking and investment. As a member of the Veterans Affairs and Public Safety Committee, I strive to protect our brave service men and women, as well as Hoosier families.
