Representative Martin Carbaugh is a lifelong resident of Fort Wayne making him the perfect man to represent his community.  He has been an elected Precinct Committeeman in Allen County since 2008.  He is also a member of the Concordia School Board, the National Association of Insurance and Financial Advisors and the National Federation of Independent Business.  His district includes a portion of central Allen County as well as the northwestern portion of Fort Wayne.

For more than 10 years, Rep. Carbaugh has helped business owners and families plan for their financial futures.  At WestPoint Financial, an Indiana-based agency, one of his focuses is the agency's Education Partners team, helping prepare teachers for their financial life after the classroom.  He decided to enter politics after seeing the struggles of some of his clients from WestPoint and wants to help Indiana continue on the fiscally conservative track put forth by the former legislature.

Rep. Carbaugh's number one focus is creating and bringing jobs to Indiana by concentration on reducing regulations in Indiana that hinder workforce progress and intends to support a competitive tax code.

Rep. Carbaugh and his wife Sally have one daughter, Katelyn.  In his free time he volunteers with Junior Achievement to teach students basic financial knowledge and is involved with the Three Rivers Festival in his area.  He is a member of the Concordia Lutheran Church.  Rep.  Carbaugh is also interested in video production.  He does freelance work and was a camera man for the NFL network during Super Bowl XLVI in Indianapolis.

He is looking forward to working with the constituents of his area to secure a positive future for their district as well as Indiana.
