Community Involvement:

  • Helped organize and drive relief supplies to Northridge, California after the 1995 earthquake
  • Organized fundraisers for Gleaner’s Food Bank in Indianapolis

State Representative Randy Frye was elected to serve Indiana’s House District 67 in Nov. 2010.  HD 67 includes Ohio and Switzerland counties as well as portions of Ripley, Decatur, Jennings, Jefferson and Dearborn counties in southeastern Indiana.

He attended Cincinnati Christian College, graduating with an Associate of Arts Degree. In December of 2010, Rep. Frye retired from the Indianapolis Fire Department after 26 years of service as a professional firefighter.

That same year, Rep. Frye was elected to the Indiana House of Representatives where he serves as Chairman of the Veterans Affairs and Public Safety Committee. He also serves on the Roads and Transportation Committee and the Financial Institutions Committee.

Representative Frye has been married to his wife Debbie for 38 years, has 2 children, and 6 grandchildren. The Frye’s reside in southern Decatur County.

Representative Frye envisions government as a tool to help the citizens of Indiana. His vision is to see that government provides the leadership to help citizens be successful while keeping government small and taxes to a minimum.
