The 2011 legislative session has now come to a close and it was certainly an exciting and productive one.
During the session we successfully passed a fiscally responsible budget that will establish balanced spending without raising taxes on our Hoosier families. We also passed a number of bills that promote a healthy economic climate to attract new businesses and job opportunities to Hoosier communities. I authored a bill that will provide tax incentives and give communities the tools they need to attract new businesses and investments. Through these initiatives Indiana will continue to lead the nation out of the recession.
