Rep. Culver was elected in 2008 to represent District 49 in Elkhart County. Having grown up in Middlebury, Indiana as the son of a duck farmer, Rep. Culver has started and owns over a dozen businesses. He has also started non-profit organizations including:
Rep. Culver has twice taken 3 year periods away from his business to be a pastor. He also enjoys motorcycling, snowboarding and running marathons. In 1980 he married his wife, Val. They have three children: Craig , Chelsea and Cydney.
