Representative Tim Harman was elected into the Indiana General Assembly in November 2012. Rep. Harman is a 38-year resident of Marshall County. Rep. Harman is a graduate of Plymouth High School and has been a business owner for the past seven years. The youngest of four children, Tim and his family moved to Plymouth in 1974 where he attended school starting in the first grade. In 1985, Tim graduated from Plymouth High School before heading south to attend Florida Atlantic University. Upon graduation at Florida Atlantic, Tim enrolled in the Masters of Education program at Florida State University and completed his higher education in the spring of 1994.

Rep. Harman is the Founder and President of Harman Restaurants, Inc. (Sept. 2005 – present). He owns three Subway franchises located in Bourbon, Etna Green and Mentone. Rep. Harman also owns four company-branded pizzerias located in Plymouth, Bourbon, Nappanee and North Webster. He employs over 100 people. Rep. Harman currently resides in Bremen, Ind. with his wife of 14 years, Jennifer, and their four children.
