Education:

  • BS in Education (Social Studies) from Indiana University
  • Master’s Degree with a concentration in history from Valparaiso University

Occupation:

  • Executive Director of Facilities at Ivy Tech Community College, Kokomo,
    Logansport, Peru and Wabash

Representative Michael Aylesworth served in the United States Army and made the rank of Sergeant before he was honorably discharged in 1973. He was the co-founder of Iroquois Bio Energy Company, which he later retired from, and now, he and his wife Dolores live in Hebron. Rep. Aylesworth and his wife Dolores have three sons and six granddaughters. Rep. Aylesworth was President of the Indiana Corn Growers Association State from 1997-2002 and President of the Indiana Corn Marketing Council State from 2000-2003. Rep. Aylesworth and his wife, Dolores, are members of St. Mary’s Church in Kouts.
