Indiana House District 76 consists of all of Posey County, parts of Gibson County and much of Vanderburgh County in southwest Indiana.
The legislative district includes the western portion of the City of Evansville as well as the communities of Mt. Vernon and New Harmony.
Within the district are such points of interest as the University of Southern Indiana, the New Harmony State Historic Site, Harmonie State Park and the Southwind Maritime Centre.
