Indiana House District 70 includes most of Harrison County, a small section of western Floyd County, and the western half of Clark County.
Major communities in the district include Corydon (home of the late Gov. Frank O'Bannon), Lanesville, Greenville, Sellersburg and Elizabeth.
Among the area's attractions are the old state capitol site in Corydon, the Harrison Crawford State Forest and the Clark State Forest.
